The FOCIS WiFi2 App allows your iPhone or iPad to communicate with any AFL FOCIS WiFi2 Fiber Optic Connector Inspection System to form a complete solution for multi-mode and single mode fiber exposed connectors and bulkhead connectors found in data centers, enterprise networks, campus networks, broadband and FTTx networks, mobile backhaul networks, metro-E networks and high capacity core networks. With the FOCIS WiFi2 App, users can perform automatic analysis of fiber optic connector integrity to IEC 61300-3-35 (2015), IPC 8497-1, ATT-TP-76450 or user-defined standards to document the presence or absence of dirt, oil, particles, scratches and pits/chips. Results can be stored locally or shared using email, text and mobile cloud-based services such as DropBox.
